Research & Strategy

Shengjie Wu is a designer specializing in brand identity, editorial design, and visual storytelling. Originally from Shenzhen, he is now based in Los Angeles and works at the Petersen Automotive Museum.

As a collector at heart, he builds a personal archive of objects—Hot Wheels cars, travel magnets, and print design such as books, flyers, and clothing tags—that shape his identity and visual language. This collector’s mindset shapes his creative sensibility, fueling his work with curiosity, attention to detail, and a distinctive perspective on every project.

As a designer, he is fascinated by using visuals to tell stories and bridge the gap between individuals around the world, providing opportunities for everyone to explore various fields.
